This day or half-day retreat is designed to inspire catechists before or during their ministry. It puts them in touch with scripture and their own inner resources. It follows an Ignatian way of looking within for experience, strength and ideas, as well as to external sources. Such an approach encourages those who feel they may not have what it takes to be a good catechist.

Sometimes, the caring stability given by a kind abuela (grandmother) may be just what someone needs when they’re coming from chaos. This is also a model which can be used by participants as they do catechesis themselves.
