►This coaching happens in Learning Centers for Parents which the parents attend while their children are in class. Or for Catholic Schools, the Learning Centers are added to PTA or other parent meetings. Special attention is paid in these to non-Catholic parents, to families with children in more than one age group, and to households which are not regularly active in parish life.

►Each outline here provides for 5 Learning Center "stops" for each theme, including:

+ How to address the particular topic if your children are ages pre-K through age 8

+ How to address the particular topic if your children are ages 9 through 12 or 13

+ How to address the particular topic if your children are in junior or senior high

+ Theological background to the topic

+ Liturgical or Seasonal connections, and ideas for building households of faith

►Parents normally choose 3 out of these 5 to fill the one-hour time period usually available for such Learning Center experiences. These outlines can be easily tailored to correspond to each of the major religion programs in use in the American Church.
