Sometimes in the Church, it's possible for us to lose our focus. We get caught up in rules and regulations, in having the rubrics and terminology all be correct. In these days as we implement certain changes in our Liturgy, and respond to national and local political initiatives around the world, we think it's important to return to our center as followers of Jesus Christ: God's love and our own.

In the Gospel, this love holds pride of place. It was the way in which Christ summarized the teachings of the ages. Paul repeats this for us in 1 Corinthians and it is the leitmotif of all the New Testament.

This brief refresher on how to experience divine love is meant to change our own hearts as leaders, parents, and ministers.

For new catechists this year (and for those with more experience) this is a real key. For all of us in pastoral ministry: in our teaching and preaching, keeping a focus on the center point of the Gospel is essential. We hope this quick and profound resource will help you do that.
