SMALL CHURH COMMUNITIES (SCCs)

Dear Members of Small Communities,

Today's Catholic parishes are growing ever larger. It's often true that people belong to a parish in which they know no other households. And yet... growth in spirituality comes when our spiritual lives are shared. The journey to the heart of the Lord is seldom traveled alone.

And that's where you come in, organizing and supporting small church communities of various kinds. Here at Twenty-Third Publications, we are enthusiastic about the growth and development of Small Church Communities within parishes. We love what you're doing because these communities provide a refuge for people from the crush of modern society, when we can explore our faith and ask good questions and grow together. Many of us at Twenty-Third belong to such communities.

We have always developed resources to support small communities. Please look over what we offer here, and let us know if there is something you would like to see. Many of these resources were developed by people just like you: people for whom the journey of faith has led them to a small church community.
